Welcome back, bridge

On the late morning of April 28, 2020, the operations for lifting and installation of the last span of the Genova bridge were completed, 620 days after the collapse of August 14, 2018.

Every bridge represents an element of continuity, a link that connects distant points and builds relations. For the Genoese and for many Italians, today the new bridge over the Polcevera river has also become a symbol of rebirth.

We nurture the same hope of shortening social distances soon and, in the meantime, imagine new bridges, even virtual ones, that help us keep in touch.
