II International Meeting
European NeuroSOnography (ENSO) Group
Discovering
FETAL BRAIN
from diagnosis to counselling
Symposium on midline anomalies and fetal infections

MAIN TOPICS

Fetal brain anomalies are among the most common structural malformations diagnosed during antenatal life and therefore in the last few years fetal neurology has become a discipline on its own.
In this scenario, fetal medicine specialists are now required to have an in-depth knowledge in prenatal imaging and a major expertise to integrate information from different imaging techniques for a better understanding of an anomaly, which in turn should allow moving from diagnostic to prognostic medicine that indeed is the real future of fetal medicine.

With leading experts from around the world, this two-day course on advanced fetal neurology organized by the European Neurosonography (ENSO) Working Group is intended for fetal medicine specialists, radiologists and trainees with a special interest in the field of fetal and perinatal neurology.
In particular, this second edition of “Discovering Fetal Brain: from diagnosis to counseling” will focus on midline anomalies (three sessions on Friday) and fetal infections (two sessions on Saturday) and will cover several theoretical and practical aspects on diagnosis, management and prognosis.
